I was actually shocked that the cookie was entirely burnt and black from the insides. I even wanted to leave the cookie in the oven until it fully turned black from the outsides, because i had no knowledge it would be so inside it. It almost reminded me of fresh made charcoal, slightly hard from the outside and crumbly and delicate from the inside.
