Pangrams

Above i tried to use up as many letters as i could to create a pangram that made sense, ( i used all but 9 letters ).

Above i used all but 8 letters.

Above i used all of the letters to create a pangram that has some meaning to it, it's supposed to read if i could use all letters: Kurdish "QNG" VJ tapes yellow BMX. "QNG" being the station/ channel.

Now finally, i removed the base layer that i traced my shapes from.

Transferring my chosen Typeface into illustrator

I have decided to go with the 2nd typeface i created, to develop it further on illustrator.

 At first i was trying out typeface number 3 but i felt typeface number 2 was more successful and less decorative.

 

 I had to resize each individual letter to 50% of it's original scale.

I resized some letters so that they would fit the flow of the typeface and look like 1 typeface, which also included changing the scale of the O and the S.

Now onto adding the triangular shapes:

Combining the shapes together to form my modular Type:

I am starting to see a change in my typeface, since i am using triangles with sharp edges instead of my original blunt chopped off tip.

Some letters were complex.

Distinction of Letters

I printed out all the typefaces i created and then cut them out into individual letters, leaving a white blank space below each letter for someones interpretation of the letter.

I placed all the letters on the board and asked my mum to fill in each one with what she thinks they read.

Below are the letters my mum was able to read and answered correctly.
